Energy Island is committed to developing all forms of energy available at sea, including wave, wind, sea currents, all forms of solar energy conversion, and particularly, ocean thermal energy conversion (OTEC).
Energy Island and its partners intend to commercialise OTEC, providing large-scale renewable power and desalinated water to states and utility companies worldwide. The team is ready to implement the design and construction of OTEC facilities on a commercial scale.
By accessing the world’s biggest solar thermal collector, our seas, OTEC is a system that is capable of producing enough energy and water for the entire planet and with a net cooling effect on our increasingly heating oceans.
